But it’s not always easy to do that! It’s not always easy to know straight away what aspects of your biz you’re ignoring or procrastinating over. It’s also quite scary to let someone into your business because we’re so protective of it!
The thought of having anyone take on some of that responsibility can be really frightening.
That said, if you’re holding onto tasks that don’t fall within your skill set you’re likely holding yourself back in terms of business growth. And today’s guest is here to help you overcome those fears so you can confidently let go.

>> [22:25] When you think about how you’re faster doing tasks, you’re looking at the short-term gain not the long-term gain. There are people who can do it better than you can.

- Record yourself doing it one more time and be done with it.
- You can always make more money, but you can’t get back your time.
- Consider having someone on your team write out the instructions or process.

Common Mistakes When Growing Your Team
- People hire to the resume and not to the character of the person. You really should look at whether or not they have the right attributes to be on your team!
- Don’t hand out tasks instead of responsibilities. If they come to you and ask what’s next, you’re not being a leader. Put the person in charge of things. So don’t be afraid to hand off the whole project for them to be in charge of!
- When hiring, you should always consider the other people you have on your team. You always want to hire people who mesh together and have each other’s backs. So look at the culture and tone of your team!
